Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 26-bed Emergency Department at a Joint Commission accredited hospital
• Treat an all-ages patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5, flexible depending on acuity
• Common diagnoses include respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension
• Utilizes GE monitors and standard ED equipment
• Meditech EHR system used, prior experience preferred
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Floating required to like assignments within the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Team player with an engaged, positive attitude

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Any scrub color is acceptable
