Including moving finished goods, use of a fork truck, maintaining levels of customer compliance, and communication with customer service for OTIF and outside vendors for inbound shipments. They are responsible for supervising the activities related to safety, security, sanitation and cleanliness of the docks and all related equipment. They will communicate all issues by documentation and escalate issues with equipment, safety, and shipping helpers to management.Essential Functions & Key ResponsibilitiesRequest feedback on task completion or warehouse worker involvement for scheduling purposesLead will delegate, motivate, and empower warehouse team membersSchedule training according to managements guidelinesSupervise, plan and assign warehouse team to meet schedules to handle daily volumeAssist in daily movement of finished goods from production floor to warehouse storageEnsure customer service standards are achieved by directing the activities of the warehouse team and coordinating with customer service and other departmentsEnsure all products are unloaded and placed for proper inventory controlEnsure that all warehouse equipment is maintained and functional. All mechanical issues need to be addressed with maintenanceAlert management team of all issues with maintenance of forklifts and safety concerns within the warehouseEnsure all safety policies are followed and any violations reported to managementEnsure all company policies and procedures are followedAssists with inventory tracking, inventory cycle counting, and reportingDaily meeting with management and shipping/inventory counterpartAssist management in achieving goals and providing direction to team members as necessaryRequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Stand up and sit down forklift certification and experience requiredMinimum of five years' experience in manufacturing/warehouse environmentBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office, UPS Software and/or FedEx software, Baan; preferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsCompany BenefitsWhat You'll Get From UsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
