Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and reporting of unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
