Class A CDL Driver & Yard Laborer

Class A CDL Driver / Truss Plant Team Member Full-Time | Residential Deliveries | Hands-On Work Environment Schere Bros. Lumber Co. is looking for a dependable and hardworking Class A CDL Driver to join our truss plant team. This position combines local delivery driving with hands-on work in our truss manufacturing yard when deliveries are not scheduled. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in teamwork, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. What Youll Do: Deliver roof and floor trusses to residential job sitesSafely load, secure, and transport building materialsAssist in the truss plant and yard during non-driving hoursHelp build and assemble trussesSupport yard operations, material handling, and general shop tasksWork closely with the production and delivery teams to keep operations running smoothly Qualifications: Valid Class A CDLClean driving recordAbility to lift heavy materials and work in a physical environmentForklift experience is a plus, but not requiredConstruction, lumberyard, or truss experience preferred but not necessaryStrong work ethic and team-first attitude What We Offer: Full-time, steady workLocal deliveries home dailyNo evenings or weekendsSupportive team environmentOpportunity to learn multiple aspects of the building materials industry
