Behavioral Health Technician

Position is a PRN-as needed - Day Shift - Shift 7am-7:30pm working at Oro Valley Hospital in the Behavioral Health Unit. Summary Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric adults with psychiatric disorders. Ensures the safety and well‑being of patients. Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements Education Required: High School/GED or equivalent experience Preferred: Post High School vocational / specialized training Experience Required: One (1) year experience in behavioral health or caring for the elderly. Skills Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self‑initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
