Data Analytics Specialist

Introduction

The position supports Technical Value Management (TVM) initiatives across powertrain engineering organizations by providing data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and project tracking support. The role enables engineering teams to achieve cost-reduction objectives through actionable insights derived from engineering and cost-related data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Power BI expertise (must have)
• Advanced Excel skills
• 3 years of analytics/reporting experience
• Experience managing large datasets
• Experience creating executive-level dashboards and reports
• Prior work experience in client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Automotive or powertrain experience
• SQL, DAX, and Power Query expertise
• Power Automate and SharePoint experience
• Cost reduction/TVM program support experience
• AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyzing engineering and cost-related datasets
• Performing data mining and trend analysis
• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards
• Creating executive-level visualizations and reports
• Automating reporting processes
• Tracking cost-saving initiatives and project milestones
• Supporting engineering review meetings and status reporting
• Improving reporting methodologies and data visibility
• Developing standardized metrics and KPI reporting systems
• Maintaining data integrity and validating data accuracy
