**THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION**LOCATED ONSITE IN LAKELAND, FL**

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will support all functions of the operation including:

• Operation of various types of welding and fabricating equipment.
• Ability to fit complex parts for inspection prior to final weld.
• Gauge and inspect parts as required.
• Palletize finished parts and perform quality documentation sign-offs as required.
• Support production operations by ensuring the smooth flow of material from operation to operation.
• Active involvement and support of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to 5S practices and maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
• Work flexible hours and overtime as required.

Job Requirements:

• Must have mig welding experience with materials including carbon, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Blueprint reading and the ability to comprehend engineering drawings, tolerances and general dimensional information.
• Capable of fixture design and setup.
• Perform quality inspections and follow ISO guidelines for product traceability.

Education level: HS Diploma with some college or technical trade school to support qualifications including welding certifications.
