Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their goals, preferences, and cultural background.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote client engagement and facilitate meaningful change.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Track and document client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Stay updated on the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic modalities, applying new insights to enhance treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation that meets legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations and professional development opportunities to continuously improve clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele grappling with mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and related issues. Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
