Job Duties

• Perform MIG, TIG, or other welding as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
• Weld and fabricate metal components according to specifications
• Inspect welds and finished products for quality
• Use welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring tools safely

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience performing MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to accurately measure, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred.
• Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial.
• Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Welder.
• Previous welding experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements
• Experience with welding equipment and hand tools
• Ability to pass a welding test when required

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.

What You Will Do


As a Welder you will prepare materials, set up welding equipment, perform MIG welding operations, inspect completed welds, read blueprints, verify measurements, and help fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. You will maintain welding equipment, follow quality standards, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations while producing consistent, high-quality work.

A Welder fabricates and repairs metal assemblies using MIG welding techniques while supporting quality manufacturing operations. This role requires technical knowledge, mechanical ability, and consistent attention to detail throughout the welding process.


The Welder combines blueprint interpretation, welding equipment setup, material preparation, and quality inspection to produce finished components that meet engineering specifications. Strong workmanship helps ensure reliable finished products.
