Position Overview

We are thrilled to welcome a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our team of experts dedicated to delivering the highest levels of care. You will work with cutting-edge technology to perform a range of diagnostic procedures, all while fostering collaboration among clinicians who share a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute various ultrasound examinations including but not limited to, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring each procedure is explained with kindness
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain imaging equipment and promptly report any issues to ensure operational efficiency
• Accurately document all procedures and manage patient records in electronic medical systems
• Remain informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Expert technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
• Capable of working autonomously, as well as collaboratively within a team
