Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Houston, Texas
Job Type: School-Based Contract (42 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $45.00 – $51.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 37.5 Hours
Start Date: August 3, 2026
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based opportunities in Houston, Texas for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment supporting students across various grade levels. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, with mentorship and supervision available.
Required Qualifications• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Active Texas SLP License or currently in the process of obtaining licensure.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work within a team-oriented environment.
• Passion for helping students achieve communication and educational success.
Responsibilities• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and treatment goals.
• Conduct speech and language assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations, therapy goals, and progress updates.
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Support communication development to improve academic and social participation.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district documentation standards.
• Work collaboratively with fellow speech-language professionals and educational staff.
