Automotive Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Dealership Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. #### Key Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostics and repair on a variety of vehicle makes and models, with a focus on our dealership's brand. - Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. - Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues. - Follow service procedures and technical guidelines to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications. - Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle problems, repair options, and timelines. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used. - Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technologies and manufacturer updates. - Adhere to safety regulations and dealership policies at all times. #### Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred. - Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting. - Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. - Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication skills with customers and team members. - Valid driver's license. #### Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment. - Comfortable working in various positions (standing, kneeling, crouching) for extended periods. - Capacity to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
