Advanced CT Technologist (Non-Exempt)

Overview Provide diagnostic C.T. scans for interpretation by radiologist or performing physician in the performance of interventional and special procedures (biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthography and any other such procedures). Assist radiologist in the performance of special C.T. procedures and provide the patient care essential for all procedures. Be able to be on call if needed. Apply principles of radiation safety and be a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift. Able to organize the daily schedule. Position Details Weekend Float Outpatient CT Mercy South Community Hours: PRN Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours. Experience: One year of relevant experience. Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification/Registration: ARRT (R) (CT); Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred Qualifications Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Physical Requirements Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
