Job Description Job Description **HOTEL PROVIDED** JOB TITLE: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner- Correctional Facility LOCATION: Lompoc, CA 93436 JOB DESCRIPTION: -Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services for the adult in custody population. -Take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays. -Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications. -Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing. -Attend to medical emergencies. -Record progress notes, recommend clinically necessary outside consultation, instruct and counsel, and order or carry out therapy. -Emergency consultation to be performed by the contractor in instances where deemed necessary. Perform minor surgery utilizing local anesthesia during consultation visits.
