Medical Collections Specialist at Houston Physicians Hospital The Medical Collections Specialist is responsible for proper communication with patients, staff, and management regarding account status. Generates patient account statements, maintains accounts receivable files, and follow up on collection of receivables. Responsible for ensuring claims are billed timely with accurate coding. Communicates with appropriate staff to ensure all charges are being captured through proper documentation. Reviews financial obligation with patient and family member.
