Position Part-Time Pharmacist – provides essential pharmacy services within an acute inpatient psychiatric facility, ensuring safe and effective medication management in coordination with doctors and nurses. This role offers an opportunity to work in behavioral health, gain experience with a unique patient population, and collaborate with a supportive team. Pharmacy Location Location: Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services in Winston-Salem, NC. Schedule Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, covering weekdays and weekends. Weekday shifts are 7:30am – 4:00pm and weekend shifts are 7:30am – 2:30pm. Scheduling is flexible to support patient care. Primary Responsibilities Review patient medications and ensure accurate filling Respond to questions from physicians and nurses Troubleshoot Omnicell system issues Supervise pharmacy technicians during shifts Maintain oversight and compliance for controlled substances Ensure accountability and adherence to regulatory standards Qualifications Required Qualifications: ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred) Active North Carolina state pharmacist license in good standing Preferred Qualifications: Some hospital experience Compensation and Benefits Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Hourly pay for this role ranges from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with applicable minimum wage laws. About the Facility Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services , located in Winston-Salem, NC, is a fully licensed, campus-style behavioral health hospital offering comprehensive care for adolescents, adults, and seniors. The facility provides 24/7 inpatient programs (crisis intervention, stabilization, detox) and specialized tracks for trauma recovery, dual diagnosis, and mood disorders, along with outpatient services like Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP).
