Description Beautician Rate: $16.50–$18/hour (depending on experience) Shift: Part-Time Schedule: Flexible schedule up to 22 hours a week Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking to add a Beautician to its team. In this role, you’ll provide hair care and salon services that help residents look and feel their best while creating a positive and enjoyable experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide hair care services including shampooing, styling, cutting, permanents, color rinses, and tints based on resident preferences Maintain daily service records and submit required documentation to the business office Ensure the beauty shop remains clean, organized, attractive, and compliant with safety standards Properly clean, disinfect, and maintain salon equipment and supplies Safely store chemicals and beauty supplies in designated secured areas Assist with transporting residents to and from the beauty shop as needed Communicate with residents and families regarding beauty shop services Collaborate with staff to support resident satisfaction and overall well‑being Perform additional duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma 6 months of hairdressing experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams Commitment to resident dignity, confidentiality, and quality service BENEFITS: Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-Time Weekly or Same‑Day Pay Options Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Employee Referral Bonus Program Retirement Saving Options Qualifications Education Required High School or better.
