Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using established assessments and observation methods.

Create tailored treatment plans addressing both short-term objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing necessities.

Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that focus on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties.

Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop cohesive care strategies.

Provide education to patients and families to support their progress beyond clinical sessions.

Occasionally engage in inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care throughout each patient's journey.

Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation following all pertinent state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Stay abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for all age groups, with a thorough understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Adeptness at modifying therapy techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical judgment coupled with analytical problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and documentation practices.
