Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Endoscopy RN to provide specialized patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be responsive to call requirements, adaptable to float duties, and possess strong clinical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures and related pre- and post-procedure treatments.
• Respond promptly to call requirements, ensuring timely patient assistance within a 30-minute radius.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Follow established safety and procedural guidelines, including certification compliance and scope of practice.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge processes.
• Adhere to schedule practices, including weekend and on-call responsibilities, while ensuring readiness for emergency responses.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of recent endoscopy or GI nursing experience.
• Possess valid SC licensure or a Compact license in hand prior to start date.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting and clinical procedures in an acute care setting.
• Be flexible with schedule, including weekend shifts and on-call duties.
• Be willing to comply with hurricane season emergency response assignments if necessary.
