Project Manager

Job Description A leading Fire and Saftey company with over 250 locations across the United States is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. This Project Manager will oversee the execution of commercial fire alarm and fire suppression installation projects from kickoff through completion. They will work closely with the sales team to transition projects into execution, coordinate schedules, manage project documentation, track job costs and profitability, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. On a daily basis, this individual will: Partner with the sales team to manage new installation projects after contract award. Coordinate project schedules, resources, subcontractors, and field technicians. Monitor job costs, project profitability, and budget performance. Order and track materials, equipment, and deliveries to ensure projects stay on schedule. Work with purchasing staff and vendors to manage procurement and delivery timelines. Review construction blueprints and project specifications. Visit job sites regularly to monitor project progress and percentage complete. Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure company standards are being met. Coordinate inspections and maintain communication with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Manage project administration, documentation, and office-related project functions. Provide project updates and proactively resolve scheduling, material, or execution issues. Note: This role does not require deep technical fire suppression expertise, as training can be provided. Candidates with strong commercial electrical or commercial construction project management backgrounds are highly transferable. $90,000 to $110,000. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
