Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,697 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for an immediate opening in Richmond, Virginia. This assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week scheduled in 12‑hour day shifts, and is paid on a travel basis. Responsibilities As a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring accurate images for physicians, and providing patient care during radiologic testing. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Follow physician orders regarding the area of the body to be imaged. Correctly position the patient and adjust equipment accordingly. Take appropriate protective precautions to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for the physician to review. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, BLS certification, ARRT (R) national certification, and state‑specific licensing when required. Rad Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty, and possess a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. 1 year of Rad Tech experience. BLS certification. ARRT (R) national certification. State‑specific licensing (if required). Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift per job demands.
