Full-time, permanent opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist in Salina, Kansas.

Provide respiratory care to patients across hospital and critical care settings, with the autonomy to assess patient needs and evaluate treatment responses.

New graduates are welcome to apply, and one year of respiratory care experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

- 12-hour shifts

- Weekend and on-call requirements: To be determined

Sign-On Bonus: Not specified.

Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000; details will be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities:

- Perform respiratory care procedures independently according to physician orders and established protocols.

- Assess patient respiratory needs and administer prescribed therapies.

- Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care as appropriate within the scope of practice.

- Perform respiratory procedures, including invasive procedures in patient care and critical care areas as authorized.

- Monitor patients for changes in respiratory status and respond promptly.

- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress and respiratory care recommendations.

- Adjust assignments and priorities as patient needs and workloads change.

- Maintain high standards of patient safety, care quality, and professional practice.

Requirements:

- Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program required.

- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.

- Current Kansas respiratory care license or eligibility to obtain one required.

- One year of respiratory care experience preferred.
