If you're seeking an opportunity that empowers you to achieve new goals while pursuing a mission-driven career, then this is the perfect fit for you.Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED required; some college preferred.One year of Management experience + Previous Goodwill Retail/Warehouse Experience Preferred.Valid MO or IL state driver's license and insurance.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.Leadership skills include quality decision-making, goal-setting, and problem-solving, with the ability to motivate and lead employees and hold them accountable.Comfortable with workplace technology like registers, scheduling, and inventory management software.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Assists Store Manager in overseeing store operations, resources, and budgets to ensure all goals and benchmarks are met or exceeded.Models core values to uphold a culture with an understanding and commitment to safety, ethics, and quality within the store.Supervises, directs, and trains assigned staff and ensures they perform their essential/primary functions.Provides superior internal and external customer service to ensure repeat donors, shoppers, and staff retention and de-escalate customer dissatisfaction quickly and effectively.Coaches and counsels employees about the performance of their job duties, including discipline up to and including termination.Exercises independent judgment in assigning daily job duties to achieve daily operational tasks.Helps to identify and recommend employees with proven performance for advancement.Safeguards company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft.Reports any theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, or Loss Prevention.Must read, follow, model, and enforce all agency policies, procedures, and values.Utilizes efficient staffing methods to ensure the store is staffed appropriately.Arranges for replacements of absent employees when necessary.Audits, edits, and approves payroll.Eliminates wasteful practices through process improvement.Maintains a professional appearance, adhering to MERS Goodwill's dress code.Other duties as assigned.Benefits:Monthly Bonus up to $500.00Immediate date of hire individual and family medical benefits for full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week.Individual and family dental and vision benefits on the first of the month following the hire date for employees working 20 or more hours per week.Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance on the first of the month following the hire date for employees working 20 or more hours per week.403(B) Retirement on date of hire for employees working 20 or more hours per week.403(B) Retirement + Employer Match after one year of employment for employees working 20 or more hours per week.401(A) Retirement on date of hire for employees working 20 or more hours per week.PTO Accrual up to 15 days based on hours worked.Employee store discountPaid holidaysFlexible SchedulesCareer Growth OpportunitiesMERS Missouri Goodwill is an equal-opportunity employer.
