Mammography Technologist Performs screening and diagnostic breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, and specialized procedures, assists in biopsies, ensures MQSA compliance, and supports patient care, training, and quality improvement. Two years of formal education in a hospital based program or associate's degree in radiologic technology required. One year mammography experience preferred. Florida Radiologic Technology License: Required or eligible to obtain. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registered: Required or eligible to obtain. Must complete mammography ARRT board certification within 12 months or less from date of employment. Completion of 40 hours of required MQSA mammography training.
