Full time hospice registered nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Livonia, MI. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to those nearing the end of life, supporting both patients and their families through this vital stage. The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN with hospice experience, committed to delivering exceptional care and comfort in a home care setting. This is a full-time salaried position, with a rotating on-call schedule of three days one week and four days the next. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes, following the plan of care. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document observations accurately. Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient support. Educate patients and families about symptom management and hospice services. Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. Requirements Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. Experience in hospice or palliative nursing is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.
