Job Description:
The Emergency Department (ED) EMT will work in a fast-paced environment providing immediate care to patients in the emergency room. The role requires collaboration with medical staff to ensure patient safety and effective care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Work in cardiac monitoring unit and internal processing area, triage, and assist in the ED
- Update patient boards with accurate information
- Perform tasks according to department needs including every-other-weekend shifts
Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications before starting date
- ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
- 2 years of experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting
- Able to read telemetry monitors and pass the tele exam
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
