Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a Neuro ICU setting on 12-hour night shifts. Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of clinical experience, with prior travel experience required for all Centra positions. The position offers opportunities for contributing to a teaching hospital environment and working with advanced neuro diagnoses, clinical equipment, and support for students and new hires.

Job Details:

• Location: 1901 Tate Springs Road, Lynchburg, Virginia, 24501
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Travel Required: Yes
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; 2-3 years of clinical experience in an ICU setting; COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations or declination; prior travel experience essential for all Centra positions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Responsibilities: May include charge nurse duties, utilizing various clinical equipment such as vital signs machines, glucometers, SCDs, wound vacuums, IV pumps, and oxygen delivery devices. The RN will work within a neuro diagnosis environment involving surgical and medical cases, with a supportive role in a teaching hospital setting.
• Submission Requirements: All time-off requests (RTO) must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance.
