Forklift Driver

Forklift DriverSurestaff is immediately hiring for forklift drivers for a manufacturing client in Tolleson, AZ. Forklift drivers perform a combination of product handling and lift truck operating duties to stack, transport, and store work-in-process and finished goods. Positions are long-term temporary and offer competitive compensation ($20-22.50/HR.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shifts include:Day shift, 6:30am-6:30pmOvernight shift, 6:30pm-6:30amResponsibilities of the forklift driver:Perform a safety lift truck inspection and battery check, and report any equipment malfunctioning or damaged to the warehouse manager or shift supervisor.Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.Review daily production schedule with shift supervisor, brings materials to the production lines when needed to execute schedule and notify supervisor of any materials running low.Remove, store, and unitize production scrap bales and informs warehouse personnel when there is enough for a full load.Remove finished goods and other materials in hold to assigned location.Participate in physical inventory taking.On limited production, may assist in stock-handler duties or load trailers as needed.Complete written documentation as required.Visually inspect all completed pallets of product for quality and conformity to the packaging instructions to ensure quality at the source.Required qualifications of the overnight forklift driver:1+ years of previous sit-down forklift experienceProficient computer and typing skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, as well as work independentlyAbout Surestaff:At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
