About the Role

Key responsibilities include overseeing complex close processes, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors, and leading the adoption of new accounting standards. The role demands a deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX requirements, as well as a strong background in M&A and technical accounting. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company must have an active CPA credential, with a preference for those with Big 4 or national public accounting firm experience. The role requires a proven track record in multi-entity consolidation, operational excellence, and a strong understanding of technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, and equity compensation. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years' progressive accounting experience, with a background that may include roles such as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Chief Accounting Officer.
