Housekeeping Room Attendant

The Room Attendant is a vital member of the Housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms. Key responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, replenishing supplies, responding to guest requests, and reporting any maintenance issues. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be organized and efficient, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: . Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of laundry items picked up and delivered, noting any special instructions or issues. Communication: Report any issues or delays to the supervisor promptly to ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction. Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. Replenishment: Replenish guest room supplies, such as linens, towels, toiletries, and amenities, ensuring adequate stock for guest use. Guest Requests: Promptly respond to guest requests for additional supplies, services, or information, providing excellent customer service. Maintenance: Report any maintenance issues or room damages to the supervisor to ensure prompt repair and upkeep of guest rooms. Communication: Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team and other hotel staff to ensure efficient coordination and guest satisfaction. Flexibility: Must be able to work in other housekeeping areas as needed. All other relevant duties assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in Housekeeping Ability to lift and carry heavy laundry bags and items Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
