Credit Controller

Astute Recruitment are supporting our Mansfield -based client with the recruitment of an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy and fast-paced finance team on a permanent , full-time basis. This is a fully office-based role offering a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a lively environment, thrives under pressure and is confident managing high-volume credit control duties from start to finish. Key Duties: Managing the full credit control process for a high-volume customer ledger Chasing overdue payments via phone and email Building and maintaining strong customer relationships Resolving invoice and account queries efficiently Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts Producing aged debtor reports Monitoring debtor days and reducing outstanding debt Escalating problematic accounts where necessary Supporting month-end processes and reportingWorking closely with internal departments to resolve payment issues Maintaining accurate customer and account records What We Are Looking For: Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Credit Control role Confident managing a busy and high-volume ledger Strong communication and negotiation skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively Proactive and resilient approach Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems Strong team player with a positive attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
