Skills Required
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR)
- Strong SQL and data modeling expertise
- Experience in ETL/ELT development and pipeline architecture
- Familiarity with distributed data processing (Spark)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Airflow or orchestration tools (good to have)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (good to have)
- Exposure to big data technologies (good to have)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large datasets and modern data engineering frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for efficient data transformation
- Work with both structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Implement robust data solutions using Python and AWS services
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and cross-functional teams
- Support performance tuning and optimization of data workflows
- Contribute to best practices in data engineering and architecture
