Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings to develop personalized treatment protocols
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and families through therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and at-home exercise routines

• Engage in multidisciplinary team rounds and meetings to ensure continuous, coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a relevant equivalent degree from an accredited program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications in specialized fields (such as neurological or geriatric therapy) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills
