TravelNurseSource is working with Aptiva Corp to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Santa Cruz, California, 95060!

Unit Notes
- Unit: L&D
- # beds: 8 rooms, can go to 10 rooms
- Certs: BLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Ratios: 1 to 1 or 1 to 3
- EMR: Cerner and Fetal Link
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
- Holidays: Work in with core rotation
- Tele: Central fetal heart monitor
- Vent: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: OB/GYN
- IV Team: Yes, during day
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Shifts: 7a, 7p (12 hour shifts)
- Floating; To Mother baby
- Floor specific orientation; 3 shifts on unit
- Common diagnosis/Types of patients; High risk, PIH, preeclampsia, addiction, preterm, magnesium sulfate
- Additional Notes: lactation consultants on staff, baby friendly, if RNs can scrub that is a plus, OB techs only need BLS, 65-75 deliveries per month, level 3 NICU in house, locked unit
