Neonatal and Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30).

The Neonatal and Pediatric Respiratory Therapist will work in both neonatal and pediatric units, providing high-quality respiratory care based on the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory support and therapy for neonates and pediatric patients.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and perform emergency procedures as necessary.
• Manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including ventilators and CPAP systems.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate families and staff on respiratory care techniques and practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 3 NICU or PICU.
• Current State License as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
