Job Description
Step into a meaningful contract role focused on supporting elementary students from Pre-K through 5th grade as a School Psychologist. In this dynamic hybrid position, you’ll split your time between two days of remote work and three days in-person each week, giving you the flexibility to engage in both direct student support and virtual collaboration. The assignment begins August 6, 2026 and continues through May 20, 2027, with an additional opportunity to attend a psychologist meeting on July 29, if available.
This position centers on working closely with a diverse student population, including those with behavioral needs. While the caseload volume is currently unspecified, your expertise will ensure every child’s unique needs are met. This contract opportunity is an excellent fit for professionals committed to fostering student growth and providing essential support within a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license required
- Experience with elementary and/or Pre-K–5th grade populations preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral intervention strategies
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to hybrid schedules (on-site and remote settings)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized support plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including counseling and behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely records in alignment with school and legal guidelines
- Attend required meetings, including a preliminary psych meeting if possible
Benefits of this contract position include a predictable hybrid schedule designed to support work-life balance, the opportunity to impact students’ educational journeys, and experience working in an engaging school environment.
