Job Description:


- Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- Experience: Minimum 2.5 years required; First-time travelers welcome!
- EPIC Required: Essential for all candidates.
- Shift Requirements:
- Mandatory 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday).
- On-call duty required 2 times a month in addition to scheduled shifts.
- Must be willing to float to Perinatal if needed.
- May be placed on call if not needed for scheduled shift.


- Mandatory Skills:
- Recent experience performing sterile vaginal exams and managing high-risk patients.
- Knowledge of the CMQCC Category II algorithm.
- Advanced fetal monitoring experience.


- Unit Details:
- 4 Triage, 11 LDR, 2 OR, NICU & Post-Partum.
- 24 OB hospitalists & OB anesthesia.
- Patient Population: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults.

- Essential Skills:
- Use of External Fetal Monitoring.
- Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
- Circulate for C-section.

- Unit Systems:
- SBAR, Omnicell, eMD Allscripts.

- Required Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Advanced

- Time Off Policy:
- RTO must be on the submittal.
- No RTO during the first two weeks of assignment.
- 1 Holiday RTO can be submitted but not guaranteed.
- Must work most holidays.
- Maximum of 3 days RTO during a 13-week contract.

- Additional Requirements:
- Active California license required at submission.
- References required.
- Local candidates accepted at travel rate.
- Candidates with license restrictions, disciplinary actions, or background findings will not be considered.

- Pre-Start Requirements:
- Advanced EKG exam required.
- Minimum passing score of 80%.
- Modules vary by specialty and must be completed prior to start.

- Facility Requirements:
- Smoke/Nicotine-Free Facility.
