Project ManagerThe Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional projects that support organizational priorities across Rock City Enterprises. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company standards, while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders.The Project Manager serves as a central point of coordination—facilitating collaboration, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring a seamless execution experience that ultimately supports operational excellence and an exceptional guest experience.This role supports Rock City Enterprises' mission: "To enrich lives through Wonder and Connection."The ideal candidate is a highly organized and results-driven project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They are disciplined in tracking progress, ensuring follow-through, and delivering consistent, high-quality results.They are adaptable, dependable, and process-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to elevating project management practices across the organization.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionLead the planning, execution, and completion of multiple concurrent projects across departmentsDefine project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocationsIdentify risks, track dependencies, and proactively resolve issues to maintain progressCross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate across departments (Operations, Marketing, Sales, Facilities, Guest Services, etc.) to align priorities and timelinesFacilitate project meetings, status updates, and workflow coordination across teamsEnsure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations throughout the project lifecycleSupport consistent execution standards across all teams involved in project deliveryVendor & Contractor ManagementCoordinate with external vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure timely and high-quality deliverablesTrack vendor performance, timelines, and adherence to contract expectationsServe as the primary point of contact for project-related vendor communicationProject Tracking & ReportingMaintain and manage the organization's project management system/databaseMonitor project progress, milestones, budgets (if applicable), and resource utilizationProvide regular, structured updates to stakeholders, including leadership-level summariesDevelop reporting tools and dashboards to visualize project status and outcomesCommunication & Stakeholder EngagementEnsure transparent, consistent communication across all stakeholdersTranslate complex project details into clear, actionable updates for leadershipEscalate risks or delays appropriately with recommended solutionsSupport change management efforts by coordinating communication plans related to project rolloutsProcess ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and workflowsDrive consistency in project execution standards across the organizationSupport the implementation of best practices in project planning, tracking, and reportingRequirementsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–5+ years of project management or related experience, preferably in a multi-department environmentDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing prioritiesExperience working with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar systems)Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detailKnowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of project management principles and toolsHighly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and timelinesEffective communicator across all levels of the organizationSkilled in cross-functional coordination and stakeholder managementAbility to track project progress, identify risks, and drive solutionsExperience managing vendors and external partnersDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to influence and drive accountability without direct authorityLicenses & CertificationsValid driver's license required.Availability & Work RequirementsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.Ability to travel occasionally.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentRegular use of hands and fingers.Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally.Ability to walk trails and guest areas regularly.Company Mission & Core ValuesMission: To enrich lives through wonder and connection.
