Accounts Payable Representative

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative to join our team in Somerset, NJ. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, organization, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of Accounts Payable experience, ERP system knowledge (PeopleSoft preferred), and the ability to quickly adapt and contribute with minimal training. Fully on site- Somerset, NJ (Contract) Pay: Up to $27.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | 40 Hours per Week Hours: Flexible between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices against purchase orders and receipts.
• Review and analyze invoices, ensuring expenses are charged to the correct accounts and cost centers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Research and resolve invoice, purchase order, and payment issues.
• Support customer billing processes as needed.
• Perform high-volume data entry while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records.
• Protect confidential financial and vendor information.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely payment processing.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Experience

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems; PeopleSoft preferred.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume invoice processing and data entry.
• Experience researching and resolving invoice, vendor, and purchase order discrepancies.
