Housekeeping Manager (Temp)

A luxury hospitality property is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to support its housekeeping operation on a temporary assignment expected to last approximately two months.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring an individual who is comfortable being actively pres ent on guest room floors, supervising Room Attendants, inspecting guestrooms, and ensuring brand and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained. While the position includes some administrative responsibilities, the primary focus will be operational leadership and quality control.

• Pay: $27.00–$29.00 per hour
• Schedule: Primarily 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (schedule may vary based on business needs)
• Duration: Approximately 2 Months
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support Room Attendants and housekeeping staff throughout daily operations
• Conduct guestroom inspections to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are met
• Monitor productivity, room status, and daily housekeeping assignments
• Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to housekeeping team members
• Address service and quality concerns in a timely manner
• Collaborate with hotel leadership and other departments to ensure operational excellence
• Complete required reports and administrative tasks as needed
• Maintain a strong presence on the floors throughout the shift

Required Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeping leadership experience within a hotel environment required
• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, room inspection standards, and guest service expectations
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
• Union experience is a plus but not required

Additional Information

• Assignment expected to last approximately two months
• Immediate start available
• Schedule is primarily mornings (approximately 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), though hours may vary based on business demands
• Position is limited to 40 hours per week; overtime is not available
