Job Details Title: Hospital Pharmacist - Inpatient Pediatrics Setting: Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy - Pediatrics Employment Type: Travel Pharmacist Job Location: Chicago, IL 60637 Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 02/01/2027 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM Shift Duration: 10-hour nights Shifts Per Week: 4 shifts per week; 7 on / 7 off schedule Hours Per Week: 40 Orientation: 8 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,480 - $2,670 Job Requirements Active Illinois pharmacist license in hand Pharmacy certification or equivalent state/national licensure required At least 1 year of pharmacist experience preferred; candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered Pediatric pharmacist or inpatient hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred Ability to work overnight hospital pharmacy shifts and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Responsibilities Prepare, verify, and dispense medications for inpatient pediatric care Support safe and effective medication therapy across the hospital setting Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and clinical safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy standards, and regulatory guidelines Provide reliable overnight pharmacy coverage and contribute to smooth pharmacy operations Benefits 401K with Matching Healthcare Dental Vision Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
