Orthopedic Operating Room Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. There is no second-shift relief.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in large joint and spine orthopedic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures, including large joints, hand, feet, and scopes.
• Cooperate with a scrub and circulator per room, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, PAs, CSTs, and NPs during surgery.
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the operating room while maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License in the state of Texas.
• Experience in large joint and spine orthopedic procedures is essential.
• Preferred candidates will have extensive knowledge of total joints and spine procedures.
