Cake Decorator Associate

Position Summary As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service, is flexible to business needs, maintains in‑stock levels, and controls shrinkage. Be an Expert: Plans bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs following recipe measurement instructions, works with a variety of products (e.g., decorating bags, tips, nozzles) to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items, adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management, and maintains and sanitizes equipment while understanding product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality decisions with the member in mind, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives bakery area performance, ensures quality and date‑control standards, eliminates waste, prepares for seasonal events that affect bakery volume (holidays, graduations, family events), identifies member needs, assists members with purchasing decisions, and resolves member issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the members’ experience in the bakery, models high‑quality service and products, interacts with associates to understand roadblocks, and assists in training, influencing, and inspiring them to work respectfully, supportively, and team‑oriented. Compliance & Policies: Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing action plans and applying the Open Door Policy in business processes and practices. Pay The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications 6 months’ experience in a fresh production area. Must be 18 years of age or older.
