GIS Specialist

GIS SpecialistWe are seeking a detail-oriented GIS Specialist to support ongoing network mapping and as-built design updates within a utility-focused environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of spatial data by reviewing project packages and updating gas network assets. This role will initially focus on service line work, with the opportunity to expand into broader network updates and more complex GIS responsibilities over time.Responsibilities include:Review project packages and as-built documentation to accurately capture new network assets, update existing infrastructure, and retire abandoned or removed assets within GIS systems (Locusview).Validate and correct existing gas service data where location or attribute information is inaccurate.Support ongoing system updates to ensure data integrity across the network.Perform ad hoc updates and tasks (e.g., leak repair documentation updates) as directed.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
