Maryland Oncology Hematology is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing outpatient hematology and oncology team. • The general pay scale for this position at MOH is $113,871.43 - $175,362.00 per year. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term relationships with patients and families throughout their treatment journey.

Practice at the Top of Your License

• Conduct independent patient visits and treatment follow-ups.
• Manage acute and chronic hematologic and oncologic conditions in partnership with physicians.

• Perform procedures (i.e. bone marrow biopsies) and provide comprehensive patient education.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Nurse Practitioner

Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program. This position typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner, preferably in the chosen specialty. RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. AOCNP preferred. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.

OR

Physician Assistant

Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification. This position typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant, preferably in the chosen specialty. Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.

No call requirements; Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-430, no weekends or after hours. Office is closed on major holidays. Likely transition to 4.5 day work week after completion of onboarding.
