Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in Knoxville, TN, requiring national licensure, BLS/CPR, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Therapy department,
• Currently 1 treatment room, expanding to 2 treatment rooms within 2 months of start - 2 therapists on at all times,
• Patient throughput of 1 patient every 15 minutes,
• Day shift schedule: 6:00am or 7:15am until lunch, and 9:00am-5:00pm - shift details to be discussed with the director, as flexibility is required,
• No weekends, no floating, no on-call requirements,
• Uses Mosaiq EMR,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• National Radiation Therapy licensure required (license required if applicable),
• Current BLS/CPR certification,
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Radiation Therapy experience,
• Valid driver's license required for consideration,
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the contract start date,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

Additional Information

• Steel grey scrubs required; lab coat or non-fleece jacket optional,
• Artificial nails are not permitted,
• RTO requests must be submitted in advance and are limited to less than one week,
• Candidates must have no gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
