Kontoor Brands is a purpose-led organization focused on leveraging its global platform, strategic sourcing model and best-in-class supply chain to drive brand growth and deliver long- term value for its stakeholders.**Job Posting:****Primary Duties:*** Perform a variety of tasks related to the repair, preventive maintenance and improved performance of Distribution Center equipment and hardware* Perform necessary equipment adjustments, repairs, modifications or preventive maintenance on variety of conveyor systems and powered material handling equipment* Perform building maintenance repair to various systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and other facility related equipment* Observe and/or test the adjustments, repairs or modifications to all Distribution Center equipment to ensure its safe operation* Perform required tasks in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures, rules, and safety procedures* Maintain work orders, PMs and inventory tracking via spreadsheets, data bases or maintenance software**Secondary Duties:*** Repair dock doors and perform rack installations as needed* Change and/or maintain batteries on material handling equipment* Maintain spare parts inventory, order replacements, and prepare routine updates to maintenance records and reports**JOB REQUIREMENTS****Education and Experience:*** High School Diploma or equivalent* Technical/Trade School certificate, preferably in facility maintenance or related areas; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered* Experience with modern powered conveyor systems, fork truck equipment, and computer-based maintenance systems is required* Proficient in electro mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC controllers, welding (MIG and ARC) and interpreting blueprints* Minimum of 2 years of distribution or manufacturing maintenance experience with mechanical and industrial skills experience in HVAC**Essential Duties:*** Ability and flexibility to work alternate shifts as required* Ability to take initiative to correct issues without direction, offer solutions to problems and support a team effort* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency to meet established deadlines**Working Conditions & Physical Demands:*** Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds continuously throughout the working shift* Must be capable of sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods of time* Must be able to operate fixed and motorized material handling equipment* Must be able to adequately assess surroundings and be aware of moving equipment* Required to work in a physical environment that is subject to temperature extremes, movement of mobile and fixed equipment that require detailed hand movements and coordination, possible exposure to hazardous products, dust and other conditions associated with a warehouse operationAt Kontoor, we offer a comprehensive benefit package to fit your lifestyle.
