ResponsibilitiesManage land survey projects for the entire project cycle while maintaining client contactProduce survey-related projects using AutoCAD Civil 3DMentor, train and oversee the work of field staffPrepare calculations and project preparation for field crewsSchedule field workProduce and implement survey field standards and quality controlRecommend field equipment purchases and upgrades for the departmentCheck field work to verify completeness and accuracyOn site assistance on field survey projects as a supervisorAssist with recruiting and evaluating new hiresCommunicate with Leadership and Project Managers on constant basisQualificationsAt least 5 years of relevant experience in land development (commercial, industrial, single-family, etc.) and municipal development projectsMust possess the Professional Land Surveyor licensure in Illinois or ability to obtain within 1 year.Advanced knowledge of survey field proceduresAdvanced knowledge of survey equipment and software (Trimble a plus)Ability to evaluate field data and perform survey calculations in AutoCAD Civil 3DAbility to oversee and manage a project team of field survey staffVerbal skills and organizational ability to communicate with project managers and staffTime management skillsThe position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000-$140,000, commensurate with experienceSince 1991, Weaver Consultants Group has built its reputation on three pillars: exceptional client service, strong project leadership, and smart business management.
