Senior Representative, Laboratory Technician

Senior Representative, Technician – Dishwashing Laboratories We are looking for qualified candidates for an onsite role at our St. Joseph Tech Center in MI. The Senior Representative Technician will perform testing for wash and dry performance of dishwashers, manage day‑to‑day laboratory activities, conduct data analysis, and prepare reports. The position reports directly to the Lab Supervisor. Relocation is not available for this role. Responsibilities Prepare dishwasher test loads daily following appropriate test procedures, including application of food soils on dishware. Provide product and component testing, analysis, and problem solving while developing and applying a strong understanding of appliance operations and lab procedures. Interpret and summarize test results in written documentation. Develop, execute, and document new test procedures, gather knowledge through test results, and apply that information to analyze problems for root cause. Prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast paced lab environment. Consistently make process improvements through continuous improvement initiatives. Provide support and assistance to team members to ensure shared success. Communicate verbally and in writing with cross‑functional teams to share observations and test results. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience using product laboratory equipment such as basic tools, ovens, countertop mixers or grinders, measuring instruments or databases. Preferred Skills and Experiences Associate Degree in Technology, a technical field, or Culinary Food Science, or 2+ years of experience in a lab setting. Previous knowledge and work with applicable appliances. Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions, record data accurately, and communicate results with recommendations. Ability to use basic technical equipment and instrumentation. Continuous Improvement and 5S mindset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Outstanding people skills and a positive team player. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience with GoogleSuite and MicrosoftExcel. Benefits Generous benefits package.
