Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized speech-language therapy services to a diverse patient population in inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective communication and swallowing interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly.
• Document clinical findings and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and families on therapy exercises and strategies for ongoing improvement.
• Support inpatient and outpatient services primarily in acute care, with potential involvement in long-term care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active CCC and AK license at the time of submission.
• Possess previous experience as an SLP, preferably within a medical setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Be adaptable to flexible scheduling, including Monday to Friday shifts.
